Uncontrollable, unpredictable, and undesirable situations tend to rattle the everyday life of normal. Christians seem to embrace the so-called mountain top experiences. And, to be perfectly honest those times are easier welcomed. But, reality checks us. Because, whether invited or accepted, we all encounter the Monday morning blues.
Spiritually, life can shift from one day to the next. It can happen so quickly, that you can literally walk away from a supernatural encounter with God and your very next step will land you in the depths of spiritual darkness. The question we all ponder, why the dark seasons?
Before modern day technology, photography was a long process. Developing pictures in a darkroom was definitely a timeless experience. Experts say, the feeling that surrounds you when first witnessing an image appear on a once blank sheet of paper is surreal. The amazing part is, truly understanding what entered into the room one way, exited totally different. Our spiritual lives correlate this darkroom experience.
God allows HIS children to enter dark seasons spiritually. During this time, God is sending the believer through a process of development. It’s when we are isolated from church, worship services, and fellow believers, God can begin to expose us. Within the dark room of life, we as Christians will really understand who God is. God already knows who we are, but through this agonizing season, God is allowing us to know who HE is. Faithful, loving and long-suffering are only a few words to describe our wonderful God. Keep in mind through this season, God is revealing the “true image.”
REAL. PEOPLE. SURVIVE
